The term “Cumulative Trauma Disorder” may sound puzzling, but this is another name for a repetitive stress injury, which could affect many parts of your body, from neck to foot.

The causes

The repetition of any motion that takes place while you are carrying out a particular task may lead to injury. People who are assembly line workers or meatpackers might succumb to CTD, as well as tennis players, gardeners and carpenters. The good news is that most people can recover from their injuries.
